A 12k carbon fiber tube is a cylindrical structure made of carbon fiber fabric that has been woven together in a unique pattern. The term 12k refers to the number of individual carbon fibers in each strand of the fabric. A 12k carbon fiber tube has a thicker strand of carbon fiber, with about 12,000 individual fibers per strand.
